Kevin Perera is a Sri Lankan singer, composer, producer and rapper. He runs Kevin’s Music Studios in Ganemulla, the base for his own releases and for the artists he produces.
He writes, performs and produces original material, releasing through YouTube and streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music. His work spans sung and rapped material, and he handles a record from the first idea through composition, performance and production.
He is a co-founder of Kwings Media and its Head of Marketing, and holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Management specialising in Marketing. That combination shapes how the studio treats a release: the sound and the way it reaches an audience are planned together, not in sequence.
“Suthraya”, written with lyricist and fellow co-founder Rukshan Tharindu, is one result of the two working together — the same partnership clients get when they record here.
